1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, bookings, and rental services provided by Rent It Rentals Inc. (“Rent It,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 938 Seed Frontage Rd, Sicamous, BC. By booking a rental or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 19 years of age to book and operate our rental equipment. By making a booking, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate. We may require valid government-issued identification at pickup.

3. Bookings

A booking is confirmed once payment has been processed and you receive a confirmation from us. All bookings are subject to equipment availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where information is inaccurate, eligibility is not met, or safety conditions cannot be satisfied.

4. Payments & Deposits

All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Full rental payment is due at the time of booking. A refundable security deposit is collected as a pre-authorization hold on your payment card. The hold is released after the equipment is returned in acceptable condition. Where damage, loss, or excess use occurs, charges may be applied against the deposit as described below.

5. Cancellation Policy

• 72+ hours before start — full refund, less a 5% processing fee.
• 24 to 72 hours before start — 50% refund.
• Under 24 hours before start — no refund.
• Weather cancellation by Rent It — if we cancel due to unsafe weather conditions, you receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no charge.

6. Equipment & Safety Rules

You agree to operate all rented equipment responsibly, lawfully, and in accordance with the instructions and safety briefing provided by our staff. You must:

• Complete and sign all required liability waivers before use;
• Wear required safety equipment, including personal flotation devices where applicable;
• Not operate equipment while impaired by alcohol or drugs;
• Not exceed capacity limits or use equipment for unlawful or reckless purposes;
• Follow all applicable boating, waterway, and traffic laws;
• Return equipment on time and in the condition it was received.

7. Damage & Loss

You are responsible for the equipment during your rental period. In the event of damage, loss, or theft, the security deposit will be charged. Where the cost of repair or replacement exceeds the deposit amount, you remain liable for the excess. We will provide reasonable documentation of any charges applied.

8. Limitation of Liability

Recreational activities involve inherent risks. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rent It Rentals Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the equipment, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the rental. This limitation is in addition to, and does not replace, any signed liability waiver.

9. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
